Slackimp's Horse Page

Welcome to my homepage!
This is my horse Baby.
Let me tell you a little about myself. I am 16 years old, and have been riding since I was born. Well, since I was very young at least. I have five horses right now, but I am working on buying and selling at the moment. Baby is my show horse. I have shown her for four years. We have had a lot of fun. We've been to 3 state shows now.
 Robyn
I have a Paint filly named Robyn. I have shown her quite a bit. She is two years old. She is very flashy and has a great personality. She is going to turn out to be a really nice horse.
 The Fair
Every year at the end of August we have our fair. The Oceana County Fair is not as big as some, but who's to say we don't have just as much fun. There are a ton of people crowding through the horse barns every year, but we all survive and have a good time. We have all the normal classes that are in regular open shows all summer long, but then we have a few added in at the end..
 The Summer 1997
Every summer is filled with excitement and horses, and this summer was no exception. We had adventure around every corner. Horses in  every stall.. Is that a good thing?
 The Equestrian Team
Our school's equestrian team has gone to State for the past two years, yet they still won't accept us as a school sport. After the normal show season is done, an elite group of high schoolers continues on, still showing their horses with the snowflakes in the air. We call ourselves the Hart Equestrian Team.
Fall/Winter 1997
Well, I have waited a long time, and I can't wait any longer, my little baby horse is going to be 2 in a couple months, it is time I ride her. I saddled up my baby horse, like I had a billion times, but this time, I was really going to get in the saddle. I didn't bother with a bit, it would occupy her too much, so I just hooked to lead ropes to her halter. Very uneventful. Robyn let me get on and off her without caring in the slightest. She walked around just fine, and even backed up when I tugged at the ropes. She never bucked. She isn't going to be too hard to train. She is a nice little calm horse.
Don
Have you ever bought a horse because you felt bad for it, even if you really didn't need it? I did. He is a Paso Fino named Don.
For Sale
I have a Quarter Horse named Rusty for sale too. I have had him for about 11 years. He is almost 12 right now. I have shown him a little bit, and he learns really quickly. He is a good trail horse, and with some work, could be a good show horse, too, but he needs an experienced rider. He has good bloodlines and a great personality.
Pepper
Every horse barn has one, this is ours.
This is my dog.

Well, what do you think? Let me know.
